Girl Scouts

For nearly a century, the Girl Scout Movement has played a pivotal role in America’s history with a focus on developing young women with the necessary skills to be leaders who make a difference in their world. This initial vision was that of Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low, when she gathered 18 girls as the first Girl Scout troop in Savannah, Ga., on March 12, 1912. Girl Scouting is available to girls ages 9 and up. Please contact Shannon Sweet. Girl Scout website.
