Cheerleader Practice is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 until 4:15
p.m. in the Parish Center.

Junior
Pro Basketball practices on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning at 6:00 p.m. in
the Parish Center. Practice usually lasts until about 7:30 p.m.

Varsity Basketball practices on different days from week to week.
These practices are listed in the
Sunday Bulletin.

St. John Youth Choir is made up of boys and
girls in grades 4 through 8. The choir sings at the 5:30 p.m. Mass every second and
fourth Saturday.
Our string instrument program is sponsored by
VSU. Students may join beginning in fourth grade.
Students may select an instrument and join
the band in fifth grade. These students learn to make beautiful sounds.

science lab equipment, and much more.
We are
collecting metal tabs from aluminum cans for the Ronald McDonald House in Gainesville, FL. We
have reached our goal of 1,000,000, and have started on the second million
in honor of
Isabelle
Mazurkiewicz.

General Mills box tops are collected for
$ cash refund. Every box top counts. Thank you for your
help. We earned over
$267.40 during
2004-2005.
Through the
School Rewards program, we earned
$500.00
and
128,420 points. We used the points to buy a world globe for the new 5th
grade classroom, software for the computer lab, and a computerized Classroom
Jeopardy game, complete with educational cartridges for primary, elementary,
and
middle grades.
Target’s
Take Charge of Education School Fundraising Program sent us a
check in February 2005 for
$615.28

to help earn points for our
school. The points help us get more computer equipment Register
and shop from
